Pastor John Schober

Pastor John Schober was installed at Risen Savior on July 14, 2024. He enjoys teaching the members of his flock through bible study and leading them in worship. A special interest of his is teaching through hymnody and liturgy.
Pastor Schober grew up near Fort Worth, Texas. He received a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and worked as a financial advisor for a large investment company for a number of years before deciding to enter the seminary to become a pastor. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2024.
He also met his wife, Sarah, during his time at seminary, and they now have a son. When not studying God's Word and shepherding the saints at Risen Savior, Pastor Schober enjoys working on his car, video games, fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family.

Suzanne Hibbard
Director of Music
Suzanne has been with Risen Savior since 2005. She enjoys working with the talented members of the church to deliver the musical ministry for everyone at our worship services. Suzanne studied at Concordia University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
Katie Tarara
Secretary
Katie Tarara was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota, but Milwaukee is her home. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business from Alverno College in Milwaukee.
In February 2024, after 15 years, she retired from Marquette University where she managed the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
She enjoys working in her flower garden and during the winter watching the MN Wild hockey team. For the last 10 years, she has played drums in a Brazilian percussion group called Samba da Vida - MKE. The group plays a variety of public and private events in the Milwaukee area.
Katie was hired at RLSC in March 2024 and was welcomed with open arms. She enjoys her part-time job in this vibrant community and looks forward to working here for many years.
