Angel W.I.N.G.S.

Our group was formed here at RSLC in 2004.  We currently have 5 members: (LEFT to RIGHT in photo): Anita Eggert, Jenny Gordon, Andrea Esau, Kathie Koski and Kristi Sanders-Facilitator.

Past studies have been on The Fruits of the Spirit, Women of the Bible and will be starting a new study on July 11th titled “A Women’s Purpose”.  What is God’s purpose for us?

Angel Wings concentrates on strengthening the women’s spirit thru bible study, discussion group, fellowship and prayer. They also enjoy sharing life stories with one another, laughter and they are always there to listen if needed, give a hug, or lend a helping hand to lift the human spirit. 

Outreach for 2006 will include: Summer-Donating a bird bath and angel statue to the gardens in front of church and miscellaneous fundraising, Fall-Romantic dinner for Pastor & Kristi (annual event), Winter-Blanket drive for community homeless shelters.  They will also be sponsoring a family in need with the fixings for a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.  If you know anyone in need for the holidays, please contact me, Kristi Sanders.

 

I have personally been a member of Risen Savior Lutheran Church since 2001.  I have served as custodian, sung with the Set Free contemporary group, and served as a lay reader.  I am currently a Sunday school teacher for 1st and 2nd grade, bake cookies for the Welcoming Hands committee and facilitate Angel Wings.
